My work contributes to building resilience in agricultural systems, enabling farmers to cope with the changing climate and ensuring food security despite adverse conditions. 


The overarching goal of my Research & Extension Program in vegetable production is to identify/develop sustainable strategies to improve crop performance in terms of yield and quality of major vegetable crops.

    2026 Vegetables grower meeting

    USU Extension is excited to announce the date for the 2026 Commercial Vegetable Grower Meeting, which will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2026, starting at 9:00 a.m. The meeting will take place at the USU Brigham City Campus Auditorium, located at 989 S. Main Street, Brigham City.

    Planned topics include vegetable diseases and insects, drip irrigation, soil health, the use of grafted vegetable plants, and plasticulture. We hope you will plan to join us in Brigham City for this informative event.

    We are in the process of expanding our email list, so please feel free to share this information with others who may be interested in attending the meeting.
